Time to go to the complicated part. I need to teach them to play a technique called guitar picking. Guitar picking is actually a step further from beginner. I think guitar picking are necessary because You cannot be considered to be a guitarist if You cannot pick. Guitar picking is a style to play a song by picking a string out of 6, so i think this technique is compulsory for every guitar player.

Also i wanted to teach them this:

Chords

Chords are usually called triads.A chord, in music, is any harmonic set of three or more notes that is heard as if sounding simultaneously. usually the chords are used to accompany singers, by a lot of variations called inversions. this is a MUST for guitarists.

Preparing The resources for Teaching #2

I need more information to teach them to become a slightly professional guitar player. so I decided to go into the internet and browse some basic learning in guitar.

After looking a while in the internet, i finally found a good website. this website are called guitarlessons. this helps people new in guitar to play better. this is actually something similar on what i am going to teach on them. this site makes everything easier, and help me to review on what i am going to teach. i will start teaching on the start of november. i'll do my best.

so this project starts here. I am going to start on preparing resources that i am going to teach them about. very important step to music are learning about time signature. time signature creates structures for music. Time signature is a measure on how many beats per bar. without time signature, a song are not complete. Musicians rely on time signature to be able to play perfectly as possible.

This is a key signature. key signature is a symbol that differentiate a key of a song. I feel this key signature is important because I think that this is one of the basic theory that are actually compulsory if you are really in a music career. so I have to teach this topic so they can build their music theory foundation pretty strong.

Why i choose this project

in Indonesia, there are a lot of people who suffered living. according to Tempo Magazine
{http://www.tempo.co/read/news/2015/02/14/078642516/Presiden-Jokowi-Tak-Percaya-Data-Penduduk-Miskin} 11% of Indonesia's Population are below average and cannot afford daily needs. this inspired me to do this project. look at this. this article explains everything. kids have to work to go to school.


















not only kids, but teenagers too. sometimes it is not their fault to sleep on the streets, ask people's help to give them money for their daily needs, and I feel that they did not deserve this. I am trying to think how to help this kids/teenagers. The only way to help them is to give them something to specialise. for example, in this case music. if they have a initiative to learn, I am sure they can live a better live from their life before. I know, You must be thinking If i teach them to play music, I teached them the wrong way, just to make them to be a street musicians. begging money with music. But i think differently. Tegar, A street musician before, now he are one of the famous kid singer/musician in Indonesia. Nothing is impossible, unless if You did not try.

changing the topic of the project

So today, i've met my supervisor about changing the topic of my personal project. i decided to change my topic because it is actually really difficult to contact the orphanage about the procedures, and what i found out from my friend is that actually this orphanage is actually already have a consistent donators to support the orphanage, so i thought that the orphanage itself already have a good future and i think i am not needed anymore, because they already had a good future already and in that case i should look for another orphanage. I have been looking through all the web all day for a orphanage near my house and i just cannot find it, so i decided to change the topic, to a whole new level. there are a lot of street boys near my house begging for money, and it actually inspired me. this street boys are not living as have a good future so that so what i think of is why didn't I actually bring them to my place, and actually give it a try? so i come to my supervisor and ask for approval, and she approved it. so what i have to do is to find street boys and give them a music lesson.
